How to rip a DVD in preview mode?

Introduction

In this version, we are going to present you two ways ripping a dvd. You can choose to rip the dvd in preview mode and list mode. The preview mode is totally different from common ripping process. It is faster than traditional ripping mode and experiences no sync problem. Let's start enjoying a fresh ripping experience here.

Step One: Download and install the #1 DVD Ripper

Click here to download #1 DVD Ripper. When the download is finished, run the .exe file to install the software.

Step Two: Run the #1 DVD Ripper

Insert DVD disc into the drive, run #1 DVD Ripper, and click preview mode. You will see the main screen appear like this:

Click " load DVD from drive "button to load DVD from hard disk or a DVD drive:

Step Three: Watch Movie the Way you Like

Before you come to the recordable part of a dvd, the dvd status shown in the right corner of the main window will appear "Non-recordable".

(Usually, the menu of a dvd can not be ripped.)

Click Fast Forward to main movie in the DVD dropdown list, you can skip the "Non-recordable" part and directly enter the "Ready to Record" part.

Click on button or right-click the mouse to open the DVD menu

There are two ways to control the movie.

From DVD menu or from Root menu.

1) From DVD menu:
Click Fast forward to main movie, you can skip the commercial ads and go straight to the main movie.
If it is the 2nd time you watch it, click Jump to to go to certain chapter.
Click on Sound Tracks to choose an audio track.
Click on Subpictures to choose a subtitle for the movie.
Click on Camera Angles to choose the very angle for certain clip.

2) From Root menu :
Click on Root menu, the screen will shift to the settings menu.
When everything is set, you may try Toggle Full Screen to enlarge the movie to the full screen.
Of course, you can switch between Root menu and Title menu, just click on Close Menu(Resume).

Step Four: Crop black bar

Click to activate crop function. The screen will look like this:

You can choose No Crop if you like the screen remain the original; Crop Top if you like to crop the top blank bar;Crop Bottom if you like to crop the bottom blank bar; Crop top and Bottom if you like to crop the top and bottom blank bar.

Try to adjust the crop area. Use to choose the default parameters of crop item.

 

Step Five:Control and Rip the movie

Click on button to open the Record settings menu.

Click on Profiles to choose the very profile for your device. To modify the profile, please click on settings to open Configure profiles menu.

Click on Browse to choose the output folder.

Create a name for the movie by filling in File name blank.

Set the start and end point of the clip by filling in the From and To Form.

Click on OK to start ripping when everything is set.
